Ev.io is the arena shooter for people who miss sliding around futuristic maps with a plasma rifle. Movement is the star: multi-jumps and jet-assisted hops let you cross a map fast and dodge in ways most browser shooters can't handle. Weapons are energy-based and hit hard, and the maps are built with verticality in mind.
It's also one of the best-looking games on this list — proper lighting, clean models, readable silhouettes. That comes at a cost: it wants a reasonably capable laptop, and older machines will drop frames in bigger lobbies.
Modes cover the classics — team deathmatch, free-for-all, capture — plus a co-op survival mode against waves of bots. The player base is smaller than the biggest names here, so lobbies can thin out at odd hours, but when they're full it's the most fun arena shooter in a browser.
